Today, I will give you some additional tips on how to promote your property. We will be mainly focusing on Airbnb, one of the most popular platforms for making money with real estate.


Airbnb is an online market for renting properties, you can either go on the platform as an owner or a renter on the platform and look for a match. Currently, Airbnb has over 3 million accommodations, divided over 192 countries and 33.000 cities!


The company was founded in 2008 and in the first for years there were already 10 million bookings! The company is quite effective and tries to make the process as easy as possible for both the owner and the renter. 


So, what can you do to make a stable, profitable company on Airbnb? 


The first thing that you will need to make the property more interesting is a story. A nice background story can attract more customers and create depth in your property additionally. Make the story short and detailed, try to find some history of the building or tell something about what it means to you!




Whatever story you make, it won't be effective without a good promotion. Which can be done best through social media. Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn can be SUPER powerful when it comes to marketing. You can easily create posts and share it with your followers. 



In these posts you can show what your property is about, how it looks like and update your followers whenever that would be necessary. You could also use these platforms to show something more about the neighbourhood, giving customers that bit extra insight into what things the city has to offer.

Another, proven-to-be-highly-effective way of promoting properties and building trust of your followers it to add a website to your collection of social media. The website should contain the background story, as well as links to all you social media accounts. Additionally, you could add photos of the property and tell something about yourself or the neighbourhood.


This will result into a more trustworthy business that uses one central point for activities, the website. It is important to also promote the website on social media. An account on instagram looks way more professional when it has its own website!


You now have your website, which provides your target group with a nice background story and additional information such as address and some photos of the property. You also have links to your social media, on which the target group can find several posts on the property and the neighbourhood.


All the above is to make people go to your Airbnb account and book the property. It is all advertising, to rent out your property. When this is combined the right way, you will see that it can be very profitable!


Also, a good method which can be a boost to your social media accounts is using influencers and bloggers, you could either give them a free night in your room or send them photos and reviews. Their followers will read about your property and this creates extra awareness among your target group!
